medieval thinking

I found a really fab tile book, with this image of tiles, where the design is inspired by gothic arches and masonry details in churches and cathedrals. Yum.

I created a template based on the image and used it to pencil in the design on four tiles. The clay is St Thomas’

The slip is 5% Best Black Mason Stain.

The finished tiles, with a border… ETA forgot to add the end product!
